Giving Back

Funds Requests

If you would like to request funds for your organization, please contact our Charitable Chair. Please submit the following information:

The name of your organization.
Contact information including a phone number and mailing address.
The specific amount of your request.
How the money will be used. For example the MGOSC has in the past donated funds for holiday meals, Special Olympics, awards ceremonies, graduation parties, and exercise equipment. Please be specific.

Please note that the MGOSC contributes only to organizations. We regret that we are unable to grant funds to individuals.

Although the MGOSC strives to help each organization that make a request, our contributions are contingent on the income provided by our Maxwell Thrift Shop.

Socials and Special Activities are only one aspect of the Maxwell Officers' Spouses' Club. The main purpose of our organization is to make our base and community a better place in which to live, not just for our own families, but for all military families, as well as for our civilian neighbors. As military spouses, we know we are only going to live at any particular base for a relatively short time, but through the efforts of OSC's all over the world, we endeavor to leave each place better than we found it.

Charitable Contributions

In addition to funding a scholarship program for military students, the MGOSC supports many base, local, and national organizations through charitable donations raised though the proceeds from the Maxwell Thrift Shop. During the 2007-2008 Board Year, the MGOSC made over $48,000 in charitable donations.
